i thought it would be nice to put Pezz's online thoughts online here...because that should make those of us who shared time with her happy:

Day 2: Indigo Winona
Current mood: blissful
Winona, you've got to have one of the most large hearted communities ever...
I already can't wait for the return.
But so many lists and things to share!
So the house show went well, thank you SO much to Alex and Juanita for setting it up, and Michael and Kevin for hosting (!!). Experimented with a lot of new material again- this time we collectively created a rhythm section by starting with the basic beat and layering on top of that (with stomps, claps, etc)-- I really wish it were on tape... maybe that's something to consider for future shows. End result being= great exchange, loved the involvement, and just a warm enthusiastic group. I was so happy to see 2 rooms full (and in kitchen too, so maybe 3?)-- Makes the driving totally worth it.
After the show we "jammed" (who else thinks of jelly?)- with Michael and Kevin doing a lot of circuit bending, looping- creating atmosphere... It's definitely an area I'm not very familiar with, and was glad to be around that and improvise a little with them on the piano. Michael started plucking the piano strings with sustain pedal down- first time I saw that was at a jazz show a month ago---- gotta try that more..
List of "must listen to's"!
Dark Dark Dark
Dosh (duh, that one has been on the list forever, but thanks to Michael for burning a copy, this will be played STAT)
Alpha Consumer (double duh)
Dunetree
Aesop Rock
Sage Francis
Fall Harbor
Heiruspecs
RJD2
Crazy story about an astronomer with a silver prosthetic nose who died of a burst bladder b/c he didn't want to be rude at the King of Prussia's banquet: Tico Brahe
BEAUTIFUL letterpressed albums from Froseph (thank you!!) printed in Winona (totally looking into that, and looking forward to listening to these in the car)
And also, must check out the apparent rock star Printmaking scene in Minneapolis. One studio being "Burlesque Design" (http://www.burlesquedesign.com). Thinking.. thinking ahead... and it'd be great to see their studio with all the old machines... next trip!!
Alright chitlin's. That's a night. If you're in Milwaukee and going to Gallery Night, stop by Cramer Krasselt on Chicago Street, they'll be premiering the music video for "Walk From Here" - a collaboration with videographer, Darren Cole!! I wish I could be there, but also to be honest, I'm glad to be where I'm at ;0)

PEZZETTINODay 2: Indigo Winona
Walking On Water (Tour Day 3 Winona)
Oh, Winona. Indigo center. The only (right?) year-round boat-house community in the US. Half is without electricity. "Boat punks"-- look it up.
I'm writing this late (4:30 am) so words are brief. But refer to pictures.
And first Pezzettino muffin case appearance!!! Super honored to be the sponsor of the streusel muffin at Blue Heron Cafe downtown (refer to photos). Yay, Winona
PEZZETTINOLeaving Winona- lots of bear hugs

Thanks for that list of info-- so much stiff to check out, I love how involved you guys are. Invested or culturallly stimulated. Rock...And...Wow...I'm just really glad that the excitement can be so mutual...
You guys have the largest hearts- what a warm, welcoming group. I feel like there's some sort of higher consciousness in Winona- some sort of energetic pull too. Thanks for welcoming me in. I hope to be back soon!
