Our beloved book shop the Book Shelf is moving to its new digs at the end of May next to the Blue Heron Coffee House! Fourteen thousand books need to be transported to their new home and we are looking for volunteers to help pack the books into boxes. We need packers, folks to move the books and the shelving and also setting up the shelving on Second Street. We are also looking for people to make food for the crews.
We will need packers Sunday May 25 and also on Tuesday May 27. On Wednesday May 28 we will need unpackers.
We will need the movers on Tuesday May 27 and Wednesday May 28. May 27 will be the big moving day when we will try and move as much as we can. Any hours you can give will be a great help to Chris and his staff.
If you have some suitable boxes for moving books please drop them off at the Book Shelf during the day
If you would like to be part of this volunteer opportunity please call Taff at 458-8637 or 452-0803 or email at troberts@hbci.com
